HomeOffice is an independent review publication from Engining Venture Holdings Limited. We focus on one thing: making the hours you spend at a desk healthier and more comfortable. Most people will sit or stand at a desk for decades — getting the chair, desk, and accessories right is a real, measurable quality-of-life upgrade.
How we test
We don't unbox a chair, sit in it for five minutes, and write a verdict. Every product is evaluated over extended use, and we compare it directly against the category leaders. We pay attention to the details that only show up after weeks: does the lumbar support hold its position, does the desk wobble at standing height, does the armrest padding compress.
The Ergo Score
Every pick receives an Ergo Score from 0–100, a weighted average of three factors:
- Comfort (40%) — long-session comfort, adjustability, and pressure-point relief.
- Build quality (30%) — materials, stability, warranty, and durability.
- Value (30%) — price versus performance, and whether the premium is justified.
